About the Movement

Deemak Tantra is a citizen-led public movement for accountability, transparency, and timely justice in Indian institutions. The name means "termite system" — a metaphor for how institutions can be silently hollowed out from within by delay, secrecy, corruption, and lack of accountability.

We are not against institutions. We are against institutional decay. We demand reform through constitutional, lawful, and democratic means.
No. Deemak Tantra is not a political party. We do not contest elections, endorse candidates, or align with any political organisation.

We hold power accountable regardless of who wields it. Our demands apply to institutions and public officials across the political spectrum.
Deemak Tantra began as an individual initiative and is growing into a collective one. It is not funded by any political party, corporate donor, or foreign entity. It belongs to every citizen who questions institutional failure responsibly and works for reform.
"Deemak" is Hindi for termite. Termites hollow out a structure silently from within — the outer shell looks intact, but the inside is being eaten away. Deemak Tantra uses this as a metaphor for the way delay, secrecy, and unaccountability quietly weaken institutions over time.

Participating

You can add your name to the movement by filling the form at /join.php. It takes less than a minute — just your name, age range, mobile, and email. After joining, you can optionally share more details about where you're from and how you'd like to help.
Volunteering means contributing time or talent to the movement. Visit /support.php and fill the volunteer form. You can offer to show up on the ground (Time), contribute skills remotely (Talent), or both. We review every application and get in touch within a few days.
Yes. If you want to own a domain — not just contribute to one — you can express interest on the volunteer form at /support.php. Check the box that says "I'm interested in taking on real responsibility" and write one or two lines about what you'd want to own.
Every campaign page has a support form where you can add your name. You can also share the campaign with your network using the share buttons on the campaign page. Both actions help build pressure.
Yes. On each demand page, you can submit a testimony — a personal experience, information, or opinion related to that demand. All testimonies are moderated before publication. You can choose to publish anonymously if you prefer.
You can write to us using the contact form or, if you have specific information about institutional failure, use the contact page and describe the issue. Please note: reporting an issue through the website does not automatically create an attorney-client relationship and does not guarantee legal representation.

Privacy

No. Your email, mobile number, and other contact details are never published publicly. On the support form, if you tick the consent box, only your name may appear in a public list of supporters. Testimonies are published only after moderation — and only your name (or "Anonymous"), city, state, and the testimony text are shown.
All data is stored securely on servers in India. Only authorized administrators have access. We use strong password hashing, prepared database statements, CSRF protection, and other standard security measures. See our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy.php for full details.
Yes. You can write to us at contact@deemaktantra.org and request deletion of your data or withdrawal of your support. We will process your request within a reasonable time.

The Movement's Position

Our demands are listed in detail in the Founding Memorandum. They include: real accountability for police misconduct, time-bound disposal of court cases, compensation for unjustifiable delays, judicial accountability, transparency by default, and protection for complainants and whistleblowers.
Not at this time. We are not accepting donations right now. When we do, the details will appear on the Support page. In the meantime, you can support the movement with your time, your talent, or your reach.
No. Deemak Tantra does not publish unverified allegations against identifiable individuals. We speak of institutional failure — never of individuals without evidence and due process. Our criticism is evidence-based, and our demands are for fair investigation and lawful consequences, not for punishment without proof.
