A Public Call for Accountability — Democracy does not end with casting a vote. It depends on institutions that are transparent, accountable, independent, and worthy of public trust.

About This Campaign
DEEMAK TANTRA is a public campaign examining what happens when citizens believe that democratic institutions are failing to meet those standards.
Our first campaign focus is DEEMAK #01 — Gyanesh Kumar, in his capacity as Chief Election Commissioner.
The campaign raises questions about the functioning of the Election Commission, transparency in its decisions, institutional accountability, and the public's right to demand answers from those entrusted with protecting the electoral process.
Why are we asking for resignation?
Holding a constitutional office carries a responsibility to maintain public confidence in the institution.
Where serious questions are raised about an institution's functioning, citizens have the right to seek explanations, demand transparency, and express their views on whether its leadership should continue in office.
DEEMAK TANTRA calls for Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and invites citizens to engage with the issues, examine the available evidence, and make their own informed judgment.
This campaign is not against a party, community, or ideology.
It is about accountability.
It is about asking difficult questions.
It is about ensuring that institutions entrusted with democracy remain answerable to the people.
Our Demand
RESIGNATION OF GYANESH KUMAR
Not because any individual is above the law—but because no democratic institution should be beyond public scrutiny.
Read. Question. Participate.
